Dear listeners,

It is not entirely common to listen to several different operas at a piano recital in a single evening. In the program “In the Name of the Opera” I will try to do this on March 10 in Litomyšl by performing Liszt’s transcriptions based on operas Lucie of Lammermoor by Gaetano Donizetti, Faust by Charles Gounod, The Prophet Giacomo Meyerbeer and Norma Vincenzo Bellini. How wonderful it is, that even though I’m not a singer, thanks to Liszt, I can tell these amazing stories.

Technical requirements and conditions:

Concert grand piano with English mechanics of appropriate quality, tuned in the range 440 – 445 Hz.
Beethoven piano chair.
In case of larger spaces – please provide a sound technician – Matyáš Novák usually introduces himself to the audience.
A cloakroom for the artist or similar space with the necessary equipment.
Water and snacks at the concert venue.
Free parking space in the immediate proximity of the venue.
Accommodation in a double room of appropriate quality.
